Building Description

Four approximately 24'×36'4" used portable classrooms available for purchase.

These units are popular — if you are interested, contact us right away.

Customers have used these units for office space, additional living space, storage, workshops, hobby shops, retail, private training, and many other purposes.

The buyer is responsible for all work beyond setting the unit, including but not limited to: blocking or screw piles, exterior skirting, and service connections at the destination. Side AC units, service masts/risers, and rooftop venting will be removed for transport and will not be reinstalled by the mover. Each unit has a self-contained electrical panel and furnace.

Qualification:

To be a qualified buyer you will need:

Financing in place or personal funds available
A suitable lot and adequate foundation at your destination — see Moving Costs below for foundation requirements
Ability to move quickly — municipal permits take time and the mover's availability is limited

Purchasing Price:

$30,000 per unit + GST
Units are sold individually.
Moving within 1.5 hours travel distance west of Edmonton to a rural location with good access is included in the pricing, within limits.
The move must be contracted through Bilsborrow Building Movers — BBM is the building mover and moving these units is our core business
A deposit is required at contract signing for both the purchase and the move

Moving Costs:

Included moving assumes rural destination location with good access, back over compatible foundation type. Assumes no road bans or utility handlining requirements. Time allotment to position and set is 2 hours (mover's time allowance from arriving on road to mover leaving site).

Site complications may result in additional move fees.

Foundation requirements: drive-over compatible with good site access and working room is the simplest and least expensive option. Other foundation types can be accommodated but will take longer to place.

Third-party expenses for utility or infrastructure handling are added to the move cost if required. These units are typically low enough in height that rural moves require no line lifts, but this varies by location and route.

Storage:

Units will be available for delivery in approximately 20 days.

Fourteen calendar days of complimentary storage are included after contract signing. Storage fees of $25 per unit per day apply after that.

Storage is available within limits — it is intended to bridge the time needed to complete permitting and foundation work, not as a long-term arrangement. Once contracts are signed we will work with you promptly to schedule your move.

All pricing is subject to GST. Buildings are sold as-is.

Roof top air handler units removed for moves. Mover will deliver air handlers loose with classrooms, customer scope to reinstall.

The mover makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition or suitability of these units for any particular purpose. What we can say is that these classrooms were actively in use in a standard public school setting until very recently — buyers can draw their own conclusions about the standards a public school board applies to occupied student spaces.

Buyer acknowledges that buildings of this type may contain hazardous materials including but not limited to asbestos. The mover makes no representations or warranties regarding the presence or absence of hazardous materials. The buyer accepts full responsibility for investigation, disclosure, and any remediation required.
