A small guide too fast tracking your estimate
Hello and thank you for taking an interest in our services!
Above is a forum that will help you start the process of receiving a quote from us, but before you begin please review this small guide about the type of information we're going to need. It can greatly speed up the time it will take for us to provide to you with a rough quote.
Structures and buildings
In order to generate the quote we'll need to know the job type, structure type, the structure's dimensions in detail, and what exactly you want us to do with that structure.
We'll need to know the width, length and height of the structure. If the structure is a house or similar building we only need the height measurement from where the main level floor meets the foundation to the roof of the building. This is important because the size of the height of the building plays a factors in the costs associated with moving it and is required for an accurate estimate.
It is also a good idea to let us know what the structures sub-type is, for example if you want us to work a job that involves a house, explain to us what type of house it is. A four-level split is different in structure than a bungalow, and knowing little details like this can help the planning process because we can reference previous jobs we've done on similar buildings.
If the structure has any complex features such as additions, odd shapes, attached garages, jogs, or it is not rectangular in shape we're going to need to know. These are features which may need special care and cannot just be easily moved or lifted without additional planning.
If possible we'd like to know all the little details about the structures ahead of time, for example with buildings we'd ideally like to know if they have eave extensions, multiple beams, changes in joist orientation, or other sometimes less obvious details. If you don't know that's okay, we'll work with you later again while collecting more detailed information for the job.
